The Technology Centre of New Jersey offers young, growing firms, as well as large established companies, a way to afford modern laboratory and production facilities that are customized to fit their specific research and development needs. Stand-alone facilities from 5,000 to 60,000 square feet can accommodate state-of-the-art clean rooms and wet labs. Individual wet and dry lab modules of 800 square feet, combinable up to 3,200 square feet, are available in our Commercialization Center for Innovative Technologies. Custom build-to-suit facilities are also available for larger companies that require substantial space on an individual basis.
New Jersey boasts more scientists per capita than any other state in the union. And in the heart of the State's "Research Corridor" is The Technology Centre of New Jersey. Located on Route 1 in North Brunswick, the Centre is convenient to both New York City and Philadelphia. Moreover, its proximity to well-known institutions of higher learning and major research corporations provide occupants with access to a highly educated and skilled labor pool.
Educational institutions include, Rutgers and Princeton universities, the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, the Medical Center at Princeton and the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ).
The Technology Centre's biosciences neighbors include, Johnson & Johnson, Ortho-McNeil Pharmaceutical, Schering Plough, Hoffmann-LaRoche, Merck, Aventis, Pharmacopeia, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Covance, Pharmacia & Upjohn Company and many more.
Lucent Technologies, the David Sarnoff Research Center, Bellcore, NEC Research Institute, Siemens Research and other leaders in the advanced technology industries of telecommunications, advanced materials, micro electronics, and computer applications are also prevalent in the "Research Corridor."
