Public Information - New Jersey Commission on Science, Innovation and Technology

Pursuant to P.L.2018 c. 91, the former New Jersey Commission on Science and Technology has been re-established as the New Jersey Commission on Science, Innovation and Technology (CSIT), recognizing the role and the importance of innovation developed at the State’s institutions of higher education and businesses to the economy of this State.

CSIT has been established to exercise oversight for the responsibility of implementing, evaluating, and formulating long-range plans and programs for science, innovation, and technology in New Jersey.

Grant Opportunities - New Jersey SBIR/STTR Support Program

CSIT has established a new SBIR/STTR support program in New Jersey. The purpose of the program is to enhance NJ’s innovation economy by providing technical and financial support to NJ’s small businesses seeking to or participating in the federal SBIR/STTR program. The program will operate on a pilot basis for a period of three (3) years, subjected to available funding and has two core components; (i) Technical Assistance and (ii) Direct Financial Assistance.
