MADISON — Does your business need strategic advice to reach the next level? Would you like a fresh perspective about potential entrepreneurial strategies that can help your organization? Fairleigh Dickinson University’s Silberman College of Business offers a solution.

Each semester, Fairleigh Dickinson’s advanced MBA students — under the supervision of successful entrepreneurs, angel investors and top faculty members — form consulting teams to partner with New Jersey-based ventures to tackle complex business situations and provide novel perspectives to companies using comprehensive business model and strategic analyses frameworks and innovative entrepreneurial thinking.

Who can benefit from this program?

The FDU Business Ventures Program is open to all companies at all stages – start-up, emerging, growing, established ventures and even non-profits can benefit from a new view. MBA Student Team – Company partnerships have been an integral part of our MBA entrepreneurial capstone for over 20 years. We have partnered with over 200 companies since 1992.

The program is truly a unique learning experience for all and has provided companies with valuable insight to strategically move their company to the next level. If your venture is chosen, the only fee is $250 to help defray costs of market research, customer surveys, and related administrative expenses. Selected companies are invited to present at one or both of the university’s campuses: the College at Florham in Madison and Floram Park, and the Metropolitan Campus in Teaneck and Hackensack.

For 15 weeks, an MBA student team will work with you and your management team to conduct industry and market research, gather information and craft creative strategic proposals to help you achieve your business goals.

The FDU Business Ventures Program is now accepting company applications through Aug. 17 for the Fall 2011 semester. For more information and to request an application, contact Professor Gina Tedesco, gtedesco@fdu.edu, 1-908-696-8884 or 1-973-216-6267; or Professor Lindsey Greene Barrett, lgreene@fdu.edu, 1-201-739-9254.
